BBS Review: Shea Moisture BABY Ultra-Sensitive
by Christina Brown
I've already raved on here about how much I love Shea Moisture Baby products. I mean I started using them on myself way before Cadence got here. I love the gentle and natural ingredients in their products, the scents are always yummy-smelling and you can tell they chose their ingredients wisely. For those of you with little squishy babies who have more sensitive skin, Shea Moisture has a product line for them too now! Shea Moisture's Baby Fragrance-Free and Gluten-Free Ultra Sensitive collection consists of the Extra Mild Wash & Shampoo as well as the Healing Lotion. Particularly with a newborn, you always want to be careful of products with harsh ingredients that might irritate their skin, so I was really excited to receive this new collection to try out. The products are free of parabens, phthalates, paraffin, gluten, propylene glycol, mineral oil, DEA, sulfates, silicones, fragrance and artificial coloring. I've used the collection on Cadence during bath time and true to its claims, she had no negative reactions to the products as they're very gentle. I've also been very concerned about using regular baby products on her hair because I tend to have a sensitive scalp (and I'm sure she will too) but I actually really love this stuff for her hair. I use the Extra Mild Wash & Shampoo on her hair to cleanse and then give her a mini scalp massage with the Healing Lotion. I love this stuff so much, I've asked the folks at Shea Moisture to gift one set of these products to one of you lucky readers.
